Building trust in what we do has been paramount to Yokoy since the beginning of the company. Yokoy is committed to validate performance through independent third-party assessments. We are proud to announce that Yokoy is now ISO 9001, 14001 and 27001 certified.
On Quality Management: ISO 9001
We are aware that our customers expect a high quality product and rightly so. By establishing a Quality Management System according to ISO 9001 we went further and also certified the processes leading to this product.
The scope included hiring, development, marketing, sales and implementation. They were certified by Attesta, Schweizer Zertifizierungsgesellschaft AG. Attesta is represented in the ISO 9001 working group of ISO and is aware of the newest trends and developments in the field of certifications.
On Environment Management: ISO 14001
While our main mission is revolutionizing corporate spend management by automating legacy (and often expensive) manual processes, making a positive impact in businesses of various sizes, we are also aware of our environmental responsibility.
While Sustainability has always been a company value, we took decisive action to implement it concretely by establishing an Environmental Management System according to ISO 14001 and certified by Attesta.
Some of the measures taken so far to enhance our environmental performance and drive a positive environmental impact are:
- a rigorous waste recycling program (88.1% recycling quota),
- a prohibition of flights between our office locations of Zurich and Munich (in favor of trains),
- and a compensation of all the business travel CO2 emissions booked over our Travel Partner Travelperk.
Our heating system is generated by renewable energy to a quota of 70% The usage of electronic signatures further reduces our consumption of paper.
On Information Security and Data Privacy: ISO 27001
The establishment of an Information Security Management System and its validation in November 2022 according to ISO 27001 by the TÜV Rheinland was a major step in building trust on our information security program and processes.
But Yokoy did not stop there.
Since then, an extensive technical description of the Yokoy all-in-one solution and its use according to the GoBD principles has been made available for our customers in German and English, just as our newly updated Technical and Organizational Measures (TOMs) according to article 32 GDPR showcasing that we are aware of our responsibilities as a successful Fintech scale-up.
